Howard Johnson Paragon Hotel Beijing

The location of Howard Johnson is really good, being merely a 2-minute walk from the subway and a short distance from the Beijing Railway Station. The staff provided great assistance , helping us with our taxi arrangements to the airport and managing an early check-in upon arrival. The room was well-equipped, with a fridge and a safe, which enhanced our comfort.

The atmosphere of the hotel is quiet.

The staff provided early check-in and surprised us with a birthday cake, creating a warm atmosphere that made our trip nice. Plus, the centrally located hotel offered easy access to local eateries.

This hotel is just good-if you find constant noise and poor air conditioning charming. It was shocking to see no one offered to help with luggage, and I certainly thought I deserved an upgrade for all my troubles. Breakfast woes were the icing on the cake. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn't.

I liked the location, the price vas very acceptable for the purpose of my trip. Excelent design, the atrium dinning room is fabulous. I loved the piano player that enchanted us in hotel lobby and atrium. Extremlly well placed location near all points of interest, also for shopping.

I did not liked because the sheet on bed was not changed during 7 days stay. Also I still have a big problem regarding some guaranties charged on my credit card when I had check in. At Check out all the payment was made by different card, but still the initial amount blocked on my card was not lifted. I have checked on my bank, and the issue is still on. I am afraid of double charge, the English of the desk-reception employees was very poor, so it was impossible to manage the problem with them. I haven't found any email to contact the hotel, neither on their web page neither on Booked.net. I will be extremely grateful if this message could solve my problem. Perfect for business travelers

Spent 5 nights here and the highlight was the really good service! White Zhang in particular, were really nice when I left some cash in the safe. He actually traveled around to banks to help me retrieve it! This level of care was lovely.

It wasn't cheap, but honestly, it was still acceptable considering the quality.

Location: I choose this hotel because it is locate across the street from Beijing Railways Station with the Metro station 100 meters away. This made our trips to all location vary convenience and save us a lot of time and money. From the hotel, we can go to Badaling Great Wall for 16 rmb. Per person round trip using the metro and train. Room: We stay in the Suite room that has separate living room. The rooms are big that we can put extra bed for our son in the living room.

It was just a proper fit for a mini-vacation in Beijing with very good value for money. The air conditioning in our room actually worked well, a pleasant surprise. Skip the hotel breakfast. It might not be worth it.

A bit noisy at night being close to the railway station. Housekeeping needs to improve, dust on window sills, carpets and floors are not cleaned regularly, nor are corridors vacuumed regularly.

wonderful place with extremely polite employees at 24 hour service. the pool area is good too. late check out. particularly good location to henderson center. and only 20 minutes walking to downtown.
